About me
Hi, I’m Andrea—the owner and maker behind Crushed Candle Company.
What started as a creative outlet in 2020 quickly became something much bigger than I ever imagined. Today, every candle is still hand-poured in small batches right here in Red Deer, Alberta using a clean-burning coconut soy wax blend, premium fragrance oils, and a whole lot of care.
I’ve always believed a candle is more than something that smells nice. It sets the mood, makes a house feel like home, and somehow makes folding laundry, drinking your morning coffee, or unwinding after a long day feel just a little better.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me at local markets, with a Diet Coke nearby, spending time with my family, or being followed around by our golden retrievers who firmly believe the candle studio belongs to them.
Over the years, Crushed Candle Company has grown into an incredible community. We’ve been honoured to receive multiple CommunityVotes Platinum Awards, and every order, market visit, and kind message continues to remind me why I love what I do.
